julius popp is an installation artist that uses computer-controlled water droplets to create a “fountain of words” randomly selected from the internet. using 128 nozzles, serious genius, and magnetic valves, he creates a pseudo-plasma screen that drips information through the air and is regenerated with the use of a collection tank. thus the work entitled “bitfall” literally recreates the flood of visual media.
